This summer, the weather is particularly hot, and every day I shuttle between my rented apartment and the office under high-temperature warnings, living a monotonous life. This summer also marks the beginning of my corporate life. Life is tiring, work is busy, and I feel anxious, uncertain about the future, and filled with uncertainty. I have written many depressive words. Today, I won't write anything depressing, but instead record something beautiful.
August begins, coinciding with the anniversary of Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). This day is the day when Xiaohongshu was registered as a company, and three years ago, it was designated as Xiaohongshu Day for every year, unlike other companies' annual meetings, which are held at the end of the year. On this day, we don't talk about work or have meetings; instead, we go out together to have fun. This year's theme is "Welcome Back to Summer." Since all the activities on that day need to be booked in advance, I was only able to secure tickets for a comedy show in the afternoon. I still went to the office in the morning, although there weren't many people there, but many colleagues were still working, especially the testers. After having lunch, I went to see the comedy show with my colleagues. It felt great to finish work at noon.

After watching the comedy show, I went to see the movie "The Lonely Moon" with my colleagues. It had been a long time since I watched a movie due to the epidemic, and this time, going to the cinema on a workday gave me the experience of having a private screening.
In the evening, I had a buffet dinner with my friends and colleagues. It was my first time having a barbecue buffet, and I ordered too much food. In the end, I couldn't finish it all, but luckily, I didn't lose money.
As I write this article, it is already the Qixi Festival, a day that doesn't belong to a single dog like me. The flower shop downstairs from the company is filled with bouquets.
