Nanjing#
A few days ago, I made a sudden decision and bought a high-speed train ticket to Nanjing. That's how I went to Nanjing for a weekend.
No itinerary, no plans.
The first stop was at a friend's house.
After getting off the subway, I saw Nanjing Xiaomi.
Then it was
In the evening, I went to Confucius Temple and Qinhuai River.
The next day, I tried the Chicken Soup Dumplings. They were delicious, with juice in every bite. I bought some frozen ones for breakfast when I got home.
In the afternoon, I went to Shuiyou City and had a great time. The concentration of two-dimensional elements was off the charts.
In just two days, I returned.
A short journey, where the important thing is not the scenery, but the people, the friends.
Follow Updates#
Unconsciously, it has been three months since I started full-time development on Follow. During these three months, I have contributed a lot of code. I have made numerous UI/UX modifications and added many details, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. Although it is still in the beta testing phase with only a few hundred actual users, there is a high demand for user requirements, and we need to work harder to improve this product.
By the way, Follow is expected to launch an invitation system this week, and the testing scope will gradually expand. Everyone is welcome to come and experience it.
The Root of Anxiety#
Today, HR informed me that I have been officially employed. At first, they said to prepare myself mentally, and my heart started to tremble, leaving my mind blank. Then they said I passed. The sudden reversal left me without any emotions, just a sense of relief.
Actually, I don't understand why I feel anxious.
Is it because of the harsh economic environment, loneliness, the influence of people around me, the fear of unemployment, or something else?
Perhaps it all boils down to a lack of security.
I envy those who can still enjoy life happily even if they lose their jobs, while I can only immerse myself in self-doubt.
As for me, I experienced a layoff once and it took a long time for me to recover. Looking back now, I can't help but feel a little scared.
Mix Space Related#
I remember that Mix Space hasn't added any new features for a long time.
Recently, I had a sudden idea and removed Clerk. Now, I have built an Oauth login solution based on Auth.js. If we have our own user system, it will make reading timelines and other features more interesting in the future. Let's wait and see.
